The balancing Pranayama classes have a key role in relation to the benefits of yoga. The asana practice is currently the most known part of yoga, but Pranayama (so called breathing exercises) has throughout ages been seen as the most important part of yoga. Already five minutes without breathing is life-threatening, which tells a lot about how important breathing is for our well-being.

In the Pranayama classes we first use asanas to bring the body to a receptive state. After this you will learn the most important Pranayama exercises, which you can makes us of in your daily life. The exercises done in the Pranayama classes help you to help your body to solve unbalanced states with breathing. Fully functioning breathing and prana system is perhaps the greates gift you can ever give to yourself!

Bring comfortable clothes and a yoga mat. In case you don’t have a yoga mat yet, you can borrow one from our premises. It’s advicable to avoid heavy meals before yoga. This is not mandatory, but you will notice how the mind and the body co-operate more readily with an empty stomach.

Also give yourself the freedom to be in peace during the class, as if you would be having a vacation from your everyday life.
